Blackmoore knows his way around a pen. He is definitely a talented writer with an easy style of prose. Unfortunately, the story didn't quite tip me over the top. The characters were just okay, the scenery well painted, the editing clean (I only detected 1 hiccup in the 11 page story), and the subject matter also just okay. I didn't quite feel the fear that the author was trying to exude in the story. But based on a nice clean read I gave it 4 stars.
