While this isn't as poetically presented as other similar books, there is a lot of important information, as chelios played for 3 decades in the nhl. It's almost like a brief history of the game, and how it has changed over time. Not sure how slashing other players makes you a tough guy, but then that is the prevailing opinion amongst hockey players. The chelios style of play isn't really prevalent today, but back in his time it was indeed important. The Mike Keenan stories are precious as usual.

As I read this autobiography of Chicago native Chris Chelios, I would swear that it was a discussion that he and I were having about his hockey career. Still bummed that the Chicago Blackhawks unceremoniously dismissed Chris and he finished his career in Detroit. Still as a Chris Chelios fan, this is definitely a must read!!! Hope to one day meet Cheli and have him autograph it for me!

Mostly a chronological telling of Cheli's career, with some amusing anecdotes and efforts to "set the record straight" on key moments. The writing level is probably middle school, which makes the book accessible for all audiences, but adults might wish for a more nuanced reflection from Chris about his life and times, the NHL, etc. Maybe he wrote in response to the questions he gets most often, but I was hoping for something a little more thought-provoking.

I loved the book. Pure entertainment for any fan of the Warrior.

Excellent book. Hard to put down. Kept your interest from page 1 until the end. His passion for the game and all out commitment to be the best he good be for as long as he played the game gave me a respect for Chris that more players could learn from. I can understand how other players looked up to him. His leadership qualities were second to none.

Chris Chelios has been my favorite hockey player since I was a little kid. I almost never read biographies but I made an exception for Chris and I'm 100% glad that I did. It was the best book I've ever read. It wasn't one of those books that describes a person's life with absolutely no emotion or feeling at all. It was emotion filled, funny moments throughout the book and an amazing story of how he got where he is today. If you enjoy hockey, I very strongly recommend you read this book. I absolutely loved it!

It's a homer rating I know but as an American and a Badger I will not apologize. He does talk about being a Badger and even more about Madison bars. (I did find it odd that he referred to Camp Randall as Randall Stadium though.)This really fills in a lot of details in and around hockey over the last few decades. There were several stories where I remember the buzz and back story, so to hear it from the player's perspective is fun. I also enjoyed the insights into all of the different coaches he had over the years.Badger Bob: Chelios, lions don't eat popcorn!

This is an interesting picture of a contemporary hockey player who was with various teams. His background and career are interesting to anyone who watches hockey or played it.

I bought this for my 6 year old. The first half are 4x4 puzzles, then it jumps to 9x9. We did the first few together so I could show her how it worked and some basic strategy, and then she was off and running! She loves these -- they're just hard enough to make her think, but not hard enough to get overly frustrated. She is a little nervous about getting to the 9x9's but a lot of the numbers are filled in so I really don't think it'll be much of a leap. This book is a really nice introduction -- a good balance between fun and challenging.

Bought this for my 5 year old who recently found the joy in sudoku puzzles and quickly became addicted. It's a small book with lots of puzzles and increasing difficulty as the pages go on.Each page is also decorated with cute sketches adding additional joy to my kid!Its def a good book for starters and fun for anyone.

I purchased this for our elementary school. I am introducing a unit on logic, and this puzzle has a nice range of abilities. We stared with the lowest level and progressed to the end. The students were able to grasp the concept, especially as it stair steps nicely up through the levels. My Kinder's were even able to do the 4x4 puzzles after we started with picture Sudoku for them.

This book is perfect for introducing children to the Sudoku concept. My daughter has been interested and my mother and I have been trying to help her along, but the 9 x 9 format is just too much for a 6 year old. The introductory 4 x 4 puzzles in this book (ultimately getting bigger/harder along the way) are PERFECT for helping kids really grasp the concept of rows vs. blocks, etc. when trying to figure out what goes where. I'm so glad I bought this!

Perfect for beginner.The first part is super simple with X's and O's and good for my 5 year old. The second part with numbers in a 3 x 3 small grid format I started with my 8 year old son who was resistant to Sudoku. But, once he completed the book. He likes these puzzles and want more advanced Sodoku now.As a adult I also started on the second part also with the numbers and and smaller grid. it was a good introduction for me too! It got me hooked and I have bought more advanced Sudoku puzzles to complete at night. Also, it got me on the road to buy other logic puzzles for myself.

Bought for my 7 year old grandson. We do the puzzles together. He really likes them. Starting on a 3x3 gives him the confidence to go for the larger puzzles.

My 6 year old son was able to many of these on his own on the 3 hour plane ride. He needed some help with the later puzzles, but the first few puzzles got him through take off and about 40 minutes into the flight. I was happy to put my book down after that and work the puzzles with him. It was an activity that occupied both of us that i felt good about - good way to put off screen time on the plane!

Bought this for my 6 year old and it was a hit. Kept him occupied, and also something fun we could do together. It's a small size book so easy to fit in my bag for on the go entertainment (restaurant, etc.) They start off easy and get more challenging. Great introduction to sudoku for young children and highly recommend.
